They let us wait over 2 Month with connection losses, crashes, freezes and back 2 desktops for their so called "Hotfix" but hey they gave us a new fucking map and the new fucking inf mode - Things we dont asked for... and what is with the Things we asked for like the Battlerecorder and really bugfixes like Medikits falling through roofes and rockets flying through vehicles?

1.4 is coming out tonight at 8:00 PM est, 9 CST, and for some reason they're not releasing it at all in anything identifiable as a "mountain state," and it's coming out next month in California, but only with the Italian language packs.

It will be out when 2142 comes out i reckon. It's the last patch BF2 will ever have, so it better work.

I don't understand why everyone is in such a hurry to get this patch.

Well, right now EA is testing this patch so that they can learn as much as they can about how this patch will effect the current game.
So, you guys keep demanding it now, I'd rather they test it for another year and come out with one that actually fixes everything you guys always cry about.

My thinking is that EA doesnt really give a toss about the patch, the beta for 2142 is out the game is being released in just under 2 month time the beta goes public in a fortnight whats the point in keeping all our BF2 players happy they will move on anyway whrn we release this game.
I disagree. I think they want to get 1.4 out so they can stop supporting BF2. As soon as 1.4 comes out then that's it for BF2 as far as significant support from EA.Rogue_granny wrote:

I'm not sure how long they will keep renting out servers or supporting the ranking system but basically 1.4 is the end. I think they WANT to get it out so they can be done with BF2.
