with x-fire:)
i'm afraid it works different. i think it's like that the game makes first a .png and from that a .jpg.Nerkixxx wrote:

Guys, he could use those applications, but he said that the screen shot makes him lag. For most people X-Fire, and Fraps make people lag all the time, rather then the few seconds it takes to press Print Screen.Poncho wrote:

Been searching for a way around this to.Nerkixxx wrote:

Flying + screenshot means usual death if not hovering
It lags for a good 3 seconds
PrtSc Copys the current frame buffer to the clipboard.
And BF2 sticks them all in a folder for you aswell.

Simply print Screen
Bigtime! I only just reinstalled it but I don't think I can use it in-game; once I finally got its screenshot function to work it lagged for way more than a second, instead of the half-second or so using BF2's built-in function.dubbs wrote:

FWIW I think you should bind BF2's screenshots to a key other than Print Screen, that way you can take screenshots outside of where the game can (like a good end-game scorecard) without it being overwritten by the next shot within a game. Then either Alt-Tab away from BF2 to paste it into Paint, PSP or Photoshop for safe keeping or remember to do it when you quit.
just press print screen
change the key from options!
I have "-" as the Screenshot key and it's faster to press. lags for 'bout ½ second still.
and I like the .png cuz it's is soo much better quality than .jpg
