Something is Eating my Memory

I have only 8.89MB of 111GB left on my computer...

I've Tried Disk Clean-up... Nothing.. I've tried removing Software to free up space.. Gets eaten up within Minutes..

I've Scanned my computer for Viruses, but found nothing..

If you need any more info on my computer, or programs I'm running then please say so..

This usually becomes really bad when i am Playing BF2, and Recording with FRAPs, Everything is fine until then..

Is BF2/FRAPs doing this to my computer? or is it a Virus?

Any Help on this Subject is Appreciated..

I'll Karma Anyone that can solve this problem..

Yes.. But i'm talking about Massive Memory Consumption.. not a video size..

holy crap, i've only used about 40gb out of 160. Maybe you hae hidden files in your computer that you aren't able to see. Often they're compressed but a lot will take up space.

I was Able to Get back 30 GB From deleting Shit.. i'm going to play BF2 and Record with fraps.. and compare how much memory i loose, i'll take the Video Sizes, and Subract that from the total i have now..

I think this should sort out some of the problem..

I currently have 30.2 GB of 111 GB

well as far as i know (i don't actually have a workable version) FRAPS makes huge files

if you have windows xp chances are you have system restore on to where it makes restore points on its own. if you delete all the restore points besides your current ones that will free up alot of space. did that to mine and in 1 months time, system restore took up 10gb. cleared all but recent and got it all back. just go to accessories/system tools/disk cleanup/then go to more options and system restore.

Most likely it is fraps. If you just record without deleting old movies, it will consume your hdd because it takes a lot of space. Once 10 sec clip is about 2 GB.

FRAPS doesn't use any compression because it would lag your computer like nuts trying to record video, play a games, and encode video into a nice format at the same time.

Only if you record at 100 fps and each frame is different from the last.
