Jeez I would've thought that in the newest of the BF series they would have put more 'vehicle destroyed' animations in the game. Those walker things (forgot what they're called :s) blow up in exactly the same way each time, wouldn't you like to see a few different ones that are randomly chosen when the vehicle is destroyed?
What do you guys think of this?

Okay, yes that would be cool. But I doubt it will go into effect. I bet the animations are already set in coded stone.

2142 uses the same engine as bf2. I am participating in the beta and the amount of lag/connection problems/ crashes is immense.

If this was the source engine whoo wee possibilities for vehicle explosions would be endless. The Hunter-Chopper from HL2 single-player doesnt even have death animations only animations for spinning rotors because everything else is taken over by physics once it dies. Too bad Dice or EA or who ever made the engine didnt work hard enough on it.

I saw it do a somersault while exploding. lol. I laughed. lol. All in all vehicle explosion are great. Even more so if you are in the one exploding. If you can ail in time the explosion and smoke make for great cover in a get away.
