BF2S Forums Wrench As A Weapon???

yeah i would be willing to sacrifice the knife for it to say -BAF- uk-anubis-uk [Wrench] n00b

I've wanted this for the longest time..

The medics get the paddles, why cant the Engineers get the wrench?

You could open the wrench as wide as it will go and then close it on the neck of your victom.

and it needs to be BIGGER.

I think the "Wrench" should have been a "Torch"

For those of you who have played Forgotten Hope...I long for the days of the old German shovel!!!!  God I loved that, running around swinging that shovel...kind of brings a tear to my eye...

If you do some digging around in the BF2 folders, it actually looks like the wrench was going to be a weapon at one point. It's got files in a few weapons directories. Sad it never made it to the Gold version of the game, woulda been nice.

I'm surprised they didn't include a lit cigarette and pair of dark sunglasses for realism. Not to mention a long string of expletives to add to the ambiance of being an engineer. You know, "Damned f@&king tank drivers thinking they could blow up the whole damn world with this thing...ouch son of a bitch!!!<<mutters under breath>> damn stupid busting knuckles on a GD tank...I should have been a medic!!! <<inhale>>...<<exhale>>. HELL YES!  I am always wishing for this. I play Engineer a lot and would love it. I don't see why not... like the guy said about medics and their paddles as weapons. wrench, wrench, wrench, BONK! I don't think so you sneaky bastard. AWESOME:)
