well after realizing i need SF to run the patch properly, i found it and dleted it, but i still cant play! i bet i just deleted the shortcut, so is there a way to completely uninstall it?

i know i know, but i dont have SF right now, i'll be getting it for xmas. if i have the patch on right now, i cant plat AT ALL, so i need to take it off. i'll install it again when i get SF, but how can i uninstall the patch completely?

Apparently you don't understand. YOU NEED THE PATCH FOR REGULAR BF2. It matters not if you have SF, you still need the patch.
If you want to remove it, reinstall BF2... But you need it to play online..
The 1.12 patch is needed to play BF2...I donot hAve SF either (i'm waiting for hell to freeze over or the wife misplace my checkbook:).
