I used to work EMS. I left that job to be Mr. Mom for our 5 kids aged 7, 6, 6, 6, and 3. I'm still a fire fighter with the Air National Guard, however.

I play high school football. And yes I am in high school, not some wierd adult who tries to relive his childhood. But anyways, I ramble and that is all I do right now.
Shooting Ducks is fun. I really enjoy hunting. With ducks you are out very early in the morning. They stop flying by 8:30ish so I'm back in time for Breakfast with the family. Ducks fly very fast (wood ducks can hit 60mph) -its a challenge. Plus I think they taste good, and they look great hanging on my wall. SO WHAT, I'M A BIT OF A REDNECK!SoC./Omega wrote:

I'm an out-of-work Windows programmer currentling writing websites as a web developer, freelance.
I get drunk at bars, then go to work with a hang over. I also play a lil poker at my local casino and shoot darts. Ocassionally I throw in a game of pool or two when I ran out of drinking money for the night. (when you hustle pool for drinks, make sure you have money to pay the dude off. I found out the hard way)

Ha!! It is really fun. You should try it. I bet if you came down to Florida and you walked through a swamp at 5 am, threw out some decoys in a slew and waited for daybreak, then got to take some shots -you'd have a blast. It is really, really fast. Faster than BF2 reaction time. Dude, you said you're joining the Army... You're gonna learn how to kill people... Real People... Granted the people you get sent to kill are all assholes and really just deserved to be nuked without risking your life -they are still people.. These things are only ducks, evil ducks. I'm a paramedic. I work in the ER and on the Transport for a Children's Hospital. Its a badassed job, wouldn't trade it.
In my spare time, I do video work (shooting, editing, post production) for my roommate's recording studio, and am on the Rescue Squad for my Sheriff's department. We discovered last week that we are actually deputies, so they issued us all badges. It was an exciting day. No more speeding tickets.
