okay im playing bf2 at 10x76, x4 aa. and one day i put the card to 12x10 x4aa, and wow what a diff that made to bf2. so i would like to buy a card that might handle that res. does anyone have the 7950 x2? anyway 5950 x2 is vista ready, and im not going to jump in to vista for a while.

I have one and its the best card to date. Make sure you are playing at AT LEAST a 1600 x 1200 resolution, otherwise it is overkill.

my pres set up does well, but i see to may dips in fps at 12x10 and highest settings. bf2 does use alot of recourses , and I'm telling you in settings that high it looks great. but hey to each there own. i was hoping to catch someone here that might have one, but i will catch another forum

with my present card i have been running omega drivers, and they have a fps meter built in, but he has put things on hold for a while i guess, and i kinda got spoiled on that. so i have fraps in this comp i just don't use it much due to omega.

no, it will actually be obsolete in about 2-3 years, cause of DX10....i would not bother with it to be honest...a x1900xt or 7900gt would run it high just fine for 1/2 the price on 1200x1024...i have my x1900xt set on all high + that resolution = beastly fps.

As I can't stop gloating about it, yea I have a 7950, it's a great card, though tbh for most people (myself included) it's too much, go with a 7900GT or something like that, and correct me if I'm wrong but I think it works better with higher rez monitors (1600x1200 and upwards)

But if your minds set, yes BF2 plays fantastically with it, everything looks perfect, no artifacts, no stupid bugs, just beauty, play every map with 99fps pretty much.
