car drop feature will be exploited and noobified..

You know whats really fun is dropping a vehicle on the carrier up where the radar is (nice little spot up there) and sitting in the Jeep/fav whatever while commanding... So you get kit time/Command time/Command points and best of all transport time. Perfect for those tasty easy to get badges... This is also fun on karkand as USMC dropping a HMMW on the top of gas station and sitting in the HMMW up there...

On to my other favorite subject... Air Defence and Ground Defence.... OMFG these are so easy to get now. Got Vet and Expert Ground in one round due to sitting in a Ground Gun while commander and artying the shit out of the carrier. What a buch of morons on the carrier... everyone waiting for their vehicle whatever Tk'ing people tossing med paks and ammo... then Blammo.... Oops i got another badge... Also for Air Defence sit in the CWIS cannon on the carrier and rack up arty kills as commander and defend the boat from raping fag j10's....

Yes yes we all know the j10 pwns everything still... do you have to be a total pole smokin fag with it...

Well Dammit the patch has been out for a while and Commander just isnt as much fun now that you cant cartillery snipers and other morons. I mean what am i supposed to do while I am waiting for my arty to recharge... actually fight... I mean come I am the commander for gods sake... Im above all that or at least I thought. Though I think at this point they actually resolved the red tag bug... Has anyone seen this since the patch? Mhhhhm... positive karma.

Have you seen the vid, on droping a jeep on arty, it blows up the cannon. Say good by to spec opps, comander can now take out other comanders arty, without moving outa his car... HAHA

i dont know what those commanders are doing. but i've tried dropping buggys on planes...and they just sit on top of it...the pilot get's in and flys off.....the jeep falls in the water and blows up

You have to take the enemy commander's car drops for an advantage.

On Sharqi I got killed by a car drop on top of my attack chopper. But the car was still intact, so I jumped in and blasted the Havok that was coming at us. Another time was when I was in the pilot seat and I couldn't exactly get up, my teammates were laughing that there was a Vodnik on top of me while I was flying. I could actually feel the weight, my controls were very sluggish.

What did I do? Well I got a gunner and then lowered myself so someone could jump in the Vodnik. EXTRA GUNNER! As long as I was above the Havok, they couldn't touch us! HAHAHA!! It was gold! You should have seen all the "WTF?!?!!"'s and everyone laughing it up. Great Round! Unfortunately, I didn't get driver kill assists with the Vodnik...

first i would like to point out that "cartilary" is cause for a kick/ban on every ranked server. this is because cartilary is against the EA rules, which means its as much against the rules as tking. and second only really stupid commanders drop cars on people. i dont think you actually get points for dropping cars on people, do you? therefore it would be smarter just to use artilary, because neither would hit immediately and artilary would get you points.

You do not get points from arty. Cartillery and artillery only bring enemy tickets down, and artillery counts towards kills, but you don't get points for it. BTW, way to revive a 2 1/2 month old thread.

No, but I've been team carty'ed twice.

Once was an accident - I called for a vehicle drop, got the green from the commander, moved around so I wouldn't get shot and it landed on me.

The other one was deliberate. I was MEC sniping on Karkand, we had been pushed back to the river, I was helping defend by counter sniping from the bank and the commander ordered me to repair the sat-scan. Fair enough - I voip him to say I'll do it next time I respawn. So he cartilleries me.
