pretty sweet movie. Very violent and also there is a .50 caliber rifle in the movie which blows people apart, along with a lot of other cool guns. I thought I saw a G36 and G3 too. Lots of action..

Also, I want to own one of those fast boats.

I didn't like it, very boring, lots of drama except for the gunfights. I really enjoyed seeing the G36C and the M95 or a similar .50 cal sniper rifle. I didn't see the G3, though.

Personally I think it was an awful movie for those of you who like action run away there is 2 hours and 50 min of talking and 10 min maybe less of action , not even action it pretty bad.

It sucked because it was a 1 hour episode of the tv show stretched out to 3 hours. The tv show wasn't bad at 1 hour. It really sucks ass at 3 hours. And what little action there was wasn't enough to make up for MTV cops.

One good thing about the movie, and somehting that micheal mann does really well, is that all the weapons sound just like they would in real life. Heat has to be the all time best shoot out.

nah, i reckon it mixed too gr8 classes together to make an amazing song.

i like whatever music that sounds good to me, that can be rock or rap or whatever, and this song mixes two amazing bands/singers.

it was the M82. G3 was there, but only for a few seconds then guy w/ it died.

its seriously worth watching just for the scenes with the .50 cal. some of the other shots are amazing.. the house in the jungle with the waterfalls... god damn!

Yeah it was kinda of pain in the ass though, they said they were justing going to need it for a few hours. They end up using it for a week. Ran me out of my own house.

Regardless of what anyone thinks. I actually really liked this movie.

If you liked "Heat" then you will like this movie. Michael Mann directed it so it's not like you don't know it's going to have a lot of dialogue and other things other than action. If you go in thinking this is a mindless action film you will be disappointed. The acting is pretty good. Colin isn't so good but it's ok because the movie makes up for it. They had a nice cross section of the culture of South America. They had great gun. Great cars and boats. Basically everything Miami Vice the series had without all the crappy pop culture prime time showboating.

I'd give it an 8 out of 10 personally.

BTW it's one of the few movies I've seen that uses actual gunfire instead of prop gunfire noises. I was quite impressed.
