Skill most importantly. Alot of people just get raped really hard in those maps and never want to play them again.

YEah, raping people at thier uncap will, Ive found out, clear the servers in a heartbeat. I don't use NVG's unless its too dark, to me my monitor is setup, not with gamma, but its bright already, hell I put the NVG's on by a light post and I have to run to get sunglasses.

Bought BF2 along with BF:SF when I started playing back in April, and the first map i ever sat foot on was Night Flight. I got wiped out, but had loads of fun, the next day I could not find ANY night maps at all, so I became a Karkand Medic whore instead j/k.
Seriously, I can not find any night maps anymore, not even some crazed-out-ping-500-Christmas-island-server...I've just recently laid Karkand aside and have begun playing SF again and I love it. But I sure miss the days when you charged towards the landed plane on the runway with your NVG on and all you could hear was teammates screaming "STARLIGHT" "STARLIGHT"! Or when you fought your way up to the top of Control tower where all the snipers were laying, in a frickin minefield of claymores... Jolly good times!

IMHO, the only "Shit" SF map is definitly Ghost Town, that is a revamped Mastuur with att choppers, every time that map comes up, I go commander and drop Vehicles on the Hind trying to take off

Devil's Perch definitly defines what SF is all about

Devils perch thats the one from theintro vid for SF? only playedit twice but really enjoyed it, just can't seem to find many uk/eu servers running it.

My to-do list when using SF:

-Turn all video settings to low/off.
-Find an East Coast US server.
-Run in windowed mode.
-Find a goddamned server running Devil's Perch. I don't even have one second on that map because I can never find a server running it.
