Tell me what you guys think of this.

When you come in the top 3 you either get, gold, silver or bronze...well what if when the round finishes you get a gold silver or bronze for the squad.....so if you win you get a gold squad medal, and this could encourage people to open up the squads and stuff....

Yes, but then people would have an amazing amount of gold medals, which shows no skill. Someone can start a squad, lock it for themselves, and get at least one gold each round..

you havent grasped the concept. What hes saying is that the top squad would all get gold, Not that the top person in a squad would get a gold.

I think its a great idea - sadly as the otheres have stated BF2 is now the poor cousin to BF2142 and they aint gonna introduce much to the game from here on in.

+1 for a great idea though

Nope. On a server where there was no swear filter, we had a high ranked commander, I believe a Lt.Col, who played as a normal player but in AA. The whole round, he was in AA getting the odd kill and dieing a lot (and not once giving any requests or even being in the commander screen).
I told a commander "to get out of the AA you useless cunt and give us UAV/arty/supplies you twat"

Kicked.

It's a good idea, should have actual squad medals and lone wolves get nothing. Might finally encourage some teamwork.
