Inbox and outbox are full.

When I try to delete any messages (or any selection of messages) i get this:

If the problem persists please make sure that 'Base URL' is correctly set in Admin/Options and that you are visiting the forum by navigating to that URL. I shut down ZoneAlarm and it worked. I don't see why ZoneAlarm has any effect...

Because it's being retarded and blocking your referrer header.

When you click a link, browsers normally send along with the request for a page the URL that you came from. Well punBB uses this feature as a security method so that people can't get you to click links and then delete your PMs by accident.

that's just the reason I uninstalled ZoneAlarm... it blocked f***ing everything: from bf2, over to the profile changing, even across to p2p... And now I have a simple firewall that doesn't ask me about every single f***ing action of my computer...

I use ZoneAlarm Pro and it works great. I just have all the annoying shit off except for program control so that I can block warez from accessing the Internet. Hell, I even have the incoming firewall off as I have a router.

Yeah. Pro always > then standard or 'home' or 'personal' or 'shareware' or 'trial'.

Well, mine is really ZoneAlarm Pro Warzed Edition, but that's besides the point because the free version can do pretty much exactly the same thing. I just like the additional component control.

Zone Alarm = Complete shit, end of story. If you want security get a router running NAT. More than enough.

Routers don't have program control.

You dont need it. I dont run local firewalls on any of my systems. I have not had a virus or security problem in 3 or 4 years. I always use the routers security.

WTF do you need program control for? Program control? rofl, you mean those annoying dialogs that pop up? "Do you wish to allow this program to do whatever?"
No thanks, I rather slit my own face.

Tell me one thing that zone alarm can provide for incoming security that a router running NAT can't.

Oh btw, I hold 4 cisco certs CCNA, CCDA, CCNP, CCDP.

calm down there buddy

I think that AntiVirus and any other security programs are obsolete. I have been running without any security other than Common Sense 2006 for a year since I got this PC and i haven't had any trouble at all.

Yes that's what I mean and yes that's what I want. I'm talking about outgoing security -- I don't want my warez talking to the Internet. How is blocking warez from accessing the Internet stupid? Not to mention if I run a piece of bad software / spyware / whatever, I don't want it talking to the Internet.

Just because I'm not an IT professional doesn't make me stupid. I know my stuff pretty well and know many guys who do IT for a living.

Yes, I know. I have my software firewall off.

1) I never said it was stupid read my post again.

2) You never answered my question, nor did you read it properly.

Tell me one thing that zone alarm can provide for incoming security that a router running NAT can't.
3) If you are so worried about your programs sending bad outgoing data, you might want to rethink what you download/use...

Yes I did -- I have it OFF. I don't use anything software based for incoming connections.

Well, I don't want to pay $50 for a game that I'm going to play once and never again, but let's not get into a warez argument here and just agree to disagree.
