I don't know everyone's gaming history, but I've played online pc games since Doom II & Quake I... macros were always taboo and now suddenly mouse/keyboard companies are allowing it in their products. Before you had to download a program to do it, which many anti-cheats would ban you for. Now suddenly its fine.

Volx doesn't even do anything that requires a macro now though. Z Ctrl Space repeat. And to those people who haven't actually seen him play, he is a great player.

But as for the thread starter, your stats don't get sent if you get kicked/banned/the server crashes. You said you lost connection. If the server did crash, no points.
