on a semi-related note, amd bought ati today. hopefully that'll make their compatibility really bad ass, 'cause i've always been an amd/ati man.
I voted Intel and Nvidia, as that is what I have currently..
My new PC that is almost ready, will be AMD and Nvidia...

i prefere intel with ati, intel cause of this one dual core proccescor great for overclocking without the need of watercooling (from 2.8 to 4.0 ), and ati for beeing the first one to go over 2Ghz mem clock with a video card
check the sig
Amd Ftw!!!!!!!!!!
AMD and Nvidia
check the sig:
AMD & AMD (ATI) FTW!!!!!!
but the next pc will probabely be a intel (unless 65nm AMD kick ass) and the fastest gfx availble (nVidia, AMD or Intel. i dont care as long as it is fast)

once upon a midnight dreary, while i pron surfed, weak and weary, over many a strange and spurious site of ' hot xxx galore'. While i clicked my fav'rite bookmark, suddenly there came a warning, and my heart was filled with mourning, mourning for my dear amour, " 'Tis not possible!", i muttered, " give me back my free hardcore!"..... quoth the server, 404.
powerpc and integrated graphics!
Well, I guess mine is AMD + ATI + NVIDIA. AMD processor, ATI card (X1900XTX) and an NVIDIA motherboard chipset (nforce4).
P4 and Radeon 9600. Intel and ATi ftw.
