This was originally from one of the various threads that Kosak has posted (dare i say spammed?).

This is regarding the confusion that arose regarding the initial choice of squad leaders/admins of the ladder

Yes there has been a lot of confusion regarding this..

MOST, not all, has resulted from Kosak thinking he's in charge, and giving out false information to people.

The official squad threads are:

Gah. You should at least have a coffee or something with caffiene wbefore undertaking this glorious task

Oh and if you think Talon's stats suck and you don't want to join then look at my 1337 ground pounding stats and be so amazed you will join in an instance, even if you are a captain but mesmerized by the shiny expert badges.

take a look at the other squad threads.. what do you see on the first post?

a nice list of who is in.. and reserves.. what do you have?

everyone has had an idea, to create a community based ladder, like the GWL TWL leagues, so we all make squads then we have squad battles, and it will go up on a leader board.

I would rather like to know if this is going to be infantry only? FbF? Conquest? 4on4? 5on5? 8on8?

And the appearence of the selfcalled BF2s Ladder promotors is far away from being qualified for this job.

Noone is going to take place in a tournament, when there are none informations about it. ^^

If Chuy likes the idea of a BF2s Ladder, i would guess he wouldn't mind if there would be a own forum section to discuss stuff about it. In BF2 - Chatter informations are getting lost quicker then a ship in the bermuda triangle.

The idea was to have a friendly little competition between squads of players from the forums..

10 team captains = 10 squads

JaM3z_18 was the person who originally thought of this idea but he was banned for some reason by THA.

I think James has been talking to Chuy about this one regarding use of the BF2S servers for the matches.
Your best bet is to xfire James:

The reason there is no real information about this is due to the fact that JaM3z_18 was temp-banned by THA and he couldn't post the information.

His temp ban ends today though.

oh well, as long as it's not "official" as far as the site is concerned, it doesn't bother me much. If you intend to use the EU server though, you'll need to talk to me ( or chuy ).

Afaik you both work closer together, therefore jamez could have posted the informations through someone of you guys. But never mind, his tempban ends today and hopefully we're able to read informations about the ladder later this day.

I'd like to give it a go. What are the requirements and who is still accepting pawns in their squad?

I'm in Ontario, Canada EST or GMT -5. Usual time slot is weekdays 17:00-21:00 EST and weekends 10:00-17:00 EST.

Technically its an EU squad, but you can join ONA anyway if you wish. You're a high ranked, well-rounded NCo, which is what we want, really.

Yeah, it looks like we're running a bit low on squadleaders. I was told by Kosak that I could be a squadleader, and I do have three members along with my thread here, is that a problem or can I go on recruiting until I get up to 8? With teams as low as they are, seems to me we need every group of eight people we can get...
