CSS. Or maybe that's because I suck at it.

CS 1.6 needs more skill.
Even dolphin divers have more skill then CS:2.0 players.
1.6 > all.
1.6 > all.

There is bunny hopping in CS, except it actually takes skill to do. I can do it.Sgt.Davi wrote:

CS does take skill to get headshots/stay alive/ time flashbangs.
Bf only requires you to be able to hit z and ctrl real fast. There is no bunnyhopping in CS and its a helluvalot more difficult.
However I prefer BF2
you need to be better at aiming in cs than bf2 but bf2 takes way more time to learn. you have so many aspects to masterize to be considered as a good player. in bf2 you have something almost not present in cs : field positionning. yes you can be bright and find the best spot to camp with your awp on de_dust but in bf2, you have to know on which flank to attack the flag, by which way, you have to know how to avoid the arty, the planes, etc. briefly : you have to know how to be at the good place at the good moment.
Half-Life 2: Deathmatch
FTW.
FTW.
Well put.BattlefieldMedic wrote:

cs1.6 take more skill imo
cs:source is just more noob friendly juts like bf2

Both games take skill, but the two games have such different learning curves, I don't think it's really possible to compare the two entirely.
CS is jsut a haxor fest.
you need to avoid jet whores, heli whores, and armor whores...
as opposed to AWP whores...

In CS you do not have to lead the target.. Think about that.. how easy would BF2 be if you didnt have to lead the target..
CS is way way easier then BF2 for that reason alone...

CS:S because you have to compete with hacks.
I'm a CS player and I prefer to play BF2, infact, i deleted my CS.
This quesiton doesn't really relate, both games require different skills and gameplay is totally different.

I think that.EntertaineR_06 wrote:
What do you guys think?! I think BF2 requires more all round skill however CS:S requires more skill in one area...
Doesn't relate to what?! Yes, they both require different skills but I was asking which requires MORE...betjai wrote:

sorz.
obviously bf2 requires more skills, cause it involves many area of skills and there are more objectives to do while CS is just wiping out the other team.
When i started playing bf2, my shooting skills were fine because I played heaps of CS but when it comes to tank, plane, chopper, or where to go/defend/cap, I had to learn all those.

to me it seems, that most CS-votes came from Karkand-whores (except a few Wake-whores);
in Karkand you don't have to worry about much, except a tank, an apc and a lot of CS-players
but i like, what he said:

BF2S, Devil's Perch. When there are good teams on server, not just cannon fodder.
However I wouldn't say, that C4ing stairs and getting like 4-5 kills in single button press requires lots of skill from yours truly.

Too many BF fanboys and people who haven't played CS voting.
Vehicles? Skill? What skill!
People I see flying jets don't seem to have haf a fucking clue. I see so many pointing the F35s nose up and taking off. Hello, earth to stupid. Press the S button to hover. Clueless gimps all over the place, it takes skill to fly a plane but most players don't bother getting skill threy just fly and ram and god knows what. The remaining players on CS:S have truly mastered the game (in most cases).
Put a BF2 guy against a CS vet and it'll be a massacre on the BF dude.
Put a CS guy in a jet and he'll realise he isn't good, yet he may persevere and start LANs and get good.
In the end, CS:S players: Far more skill as they have worked for it.

Let me explain it to you: of course you dont have to lead to hit a target in counter strike and the reason why you dont is simple: every damn fool who plays CSS has a hack on it. My aiming reticle can be 15 feet to the left of the target. the target is standing still and not moving at all. push the mouse button to fire my weapon and he is dead...instant head shot. i have seen a video of this happening.. hell i even threw away my CSS in the trash.bobroonie.bda wrote:

i would not be suprised if Bf2 players had some hax they use. like the ones that the Lost Soulz clan uses in karland, wake, and dalian plant.
Well you have to realize that these are BF2 forums, therefore, this poll is a helluva biased one (towards bf2, of course).
I don't know, to be honest. The learning curve in CSS is much larger, though it balances out with BF2's array of available vehicles which take a while to master.
Both take skill, it just depends on the person. Some get leet in one game faster than the other.
