not sure if the database is randomly eating posts or if they are being deleted, but lately i've made several posts that just vanish into the ether. they didn't contain anything that would warrant deletion, so where did they go?
Hrm. No idea? Database muchies I guess. Really, I don't know my way around punBB well enough to say I plan on reprogramming the forums to be more suitable for what I need/want. punBB is just too hard to hack on.
it must be that. if this many posts had warranted a deletion i would think i would have recieved a tersely-worded pm by now.
you bet. I haven't deleted any posts lately. and I would never do it without warning.
Yup, no clue, if I ever delete something the person is definitely getting a pm explaination as to why.

mybe you have been posting to close together time wise and not taking notice of the whole 1 minute thing?
when that happens it doesn't allow you to make the post. it tells you "this forum has such and such rules 60 seconds blah blah blah".
This still leaves one Mod unaccounted for....
if the original post is deleted then all posts under that also get deleted.
