Before you ask, yes I have special forces and my number of unlocks is on track so far. Under 2,000 points left till I make 1st Sergeant and i've been hearing about people that only got one unlock for being promoted to 1st Sergeant. Is this supposed to happen or is it just a really horrible glitch? I REALLY want two unlocks, not one.
If you have SF you will get or should get 2.

I got 2 when i got promoted, just remember you need to play the kit in SF if you want one of the SF unlocks, i had to play AT for a round on SF to get the P90
Oh crap, sorry I posted this in the wrong forum. btw, do you think the P90 is worth it. That's my 1st priority for my next unlock.

thats not true i used my mates account last night so he could get the unlocks played 7 mins as spec opps and he can now unlock any SF unlock for any kit.Murphy <s18> wrote:

Maverick: Well thats what i had to do it wouldnt show up otherwise, i realised after 10 minutes of clicking the next unlock screen with nothing happening,lol.
j5689: i like it what i do is use the pistol for long range then when i get close up unload the p90 works a treat, however i only had the engi or AT too choose from and i figured the shotgun was good enough, depends what ya got left to unlock
EDIT: looking at your unlocks i personally would go for the P90 and the L96A1

Absolutely ... the P90 is a great weapon for that kit ... I don't even use the DAO any longer. (Now if there was only a grenade unlock for the AT kit ...)_j5689_ wrote:

BTW, you play sniper quite a bit ... I'm surprised you haven't unlocked the L96

Back in February when they gave out the two free unlocks, I had just gotten gunnery sergeant so I got my new unlocks, then a week later they give out the two freebies, I chose both Spec Ops unlocks thinking they were going to take back the free unlocks, then give them back so you could rechoose......they never did. So i've been stuck with what I chose for a really long time. That's why I have neither the P90 or L96A1. Would it be a better idea to get the L96A1 or MP7?
Sf gives you two.
You probably would have been happiest if you had gotten the L96A1 ... I don't have the SCAR L, but from everything I've heard this is one of the least satisfying unlocks in the game. I love the MP-7 as an engineer option because I find myself in way more mid-range shooting situations than close-up situations_j5689_ wrote:

The guns I use are mostly 2nd tier unlocks:
Sniper - L96A1, and sometimes the 95 if I feel like sniping attack choppers (gotta hit the glass for damage)
Engineer - MP-7 ... sometimes the Jackhammer if I'm feeling like some close range action
Medic: G36E or AK-47 (PLA)
Support: PKM (USMC or PLA) or RPK-74 (MEC)
AT: P90
Assault: F2000 (mostly), but I like the AK-47 (PLA) and the G3 if I prefer to throw grenades
Special Ops: G36C
I play assault more than I do sniper but yes, I do like the L96A1 a lot.
