Patch v1.4 beta 2 ruined my BF2

Okay,

so I made a Copy of my BF2 Directory. I renamed it and then I installed BF2 Patch v1.4 beta2.
Everything is fine. I start BF2. I join a 24/7 Road to Jalalabad Server. The Map is loaded, the Spawn Screen opens and WTF?????????? My Mouse is stuck right in the middle of the Screen.

Well, I de-installed everything. Renamed my BF2-Backup Directory and start BF2/SF v1.3.
This time I joined a Server, the Map is loaded, the Spawn Screen opens and WTF?????? Same Problem!

Alright. This Time I de-installed BF2 and BF2/SF. I reboot my Computer and begin re-installing by
- installing BF2
- installing BF2/SF thus automatically patching to v1.12
- installing BF2 Patch v1.3 (full)
- installing Booster Pack Euro Force
- installing Booster Pack Armored Fury

Now I reboot again and start BF2. But guess what. The f**king problem still exists. I can join but in the spawn screen I cannot move the Mouse Cursor for at least a pixel.

ANYONE HAD THIS PROBLEM???? PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!

I haven't had this problem, sorry.

One thing I can see wrong with your reinstall is you have installed EF after the 1.3 patch, it needs to go before.

i just got the same thing, but with out the 1.4 beta, kinda suck's haven't played bf for like 8\9 day's, which kinda suck's, cause i can't play clan game's

I have had this same problem in BF1942. Not in BF2 though. But that problem should disappear when you click the map screen.

Did all the time no prob. Besides EF requires BF2 to be patched to at least 1.22 and I hate to have several incremental patches to install. But thanks, anyway!

Do you mean that it happened 8/9 days ago and you have not played BF2 ever since OR

I had this same problem! For me I did what you did then I just checked my controls tab. Well for some reason they were all blank. All I did was reset defaults and it was fixed. Just check that and see.

that could be it, as some of the patches have had a tendedncy to overwrite configs. the last two patches have changed all of my graphics settings without any warning or reason, making the game load with everything maxed out. so yeah, do as that guys says and check that it hasn't wiped your control config.

it sounds to me, like a firewall problem.
have you reconfigured your firewall to the copied version?

Whoa! That's what happened. Thanks m8. +1 Karma for were more helpful than those bastards at EA. They only saw 1.4 in my Request and instantly switched to "I don't care mode". They were like "if you have an issue with 1.4 beta just go to the forum and bla bla bla".

Install SF
Patch Sf

Don't have any boosterpacks,but I would continue in that order
