Quad SLI is much more complicated than just combining four cards into one system though. In order to make Quad SLI compatible with as wide a range of PCs as possible, NVIDIA combines two GPUs onto one physical card. More specifically, each Quad SLI card combines two PCBs onto one board.

Yeah man, I know about that. I have even SLI and QuadSli systems. I wondered about your 3mark link where it says you run 2x GF7900GTX 512 MB... With those cards a QuadSli solution isnt possible without a MobO with four PCI-E slots. Am I correct if I say you run your system with 2x GF7900GX or GF7950GX???

ATI Radeon X850 XT PE (slightly overclocked)
2x 40gb sata in raid 0 windows and games
1x 120gb pata drive for music fraps folder and DVD's
not quite as impresive, i was wondering how long it would take before someone found a hole in my system, i thought the moniter dispaying a widescreen resolution (bf2 dosnt supoort them)

Ati has taken a different approach. 2 - X1900XTX acting as crossfire GPU and the third X1900XTX (can be any X1XXX) acting as a dedicated physics processor.
I'm not sugesting that this is better than NVquad, just that it is interesting. Make your own conclusions.

quite intresting, but as QuadSli not really worth the money I´ll say. THe idea with more than two GPUs, and not talking about the dualcore platins, isnt fixed and not working propperly. Also there are only a few MoBo with four PCI-E slots.
