the kit selections dont come up. I have no idea why. Before you ask, my drivers are up to date and DirectX is also.

It has happened to me twice, but it never occurs after I just choose a spawn.

This happens to me also, occasionally. I have no solution for it except spawning once as Assault, dying, then going back to the spawn screen. It gets fixed after that.

try to re-instal your game !!!
Happened to me also once.. I just Closed out of BF2, and Restarted it, never had it happen again..

i have this problem when i join a server, and immedaitely after loading i try to change to the other team (i like playing mec better than us, for example) and if autobalance bounces me right back before i can spawn or join a squad. when i get bounced back, the kit and squad menu disappears (although the header is still there. it just has nothing under it). the only way that i know to fix this for myself has been to join, and then squad menu can be brought up, and kit menu comes back after dying. i'll give hitting enter a go
