i been playing bf2 since day of release. 2142 is a new game. boy oh boy i get to do it all again. i'm so excited. i just cant hide it.
I would like a fresh start, seeing that i know how these bf games work, i can be fairly experienced from the begining, and so i wont have really crap stats like i do for bf2.
i think it will go the way of vietnam..a botched game stuck on bf1942 engine which will die before its predecessor. lets be honest people want this game so they can be better ranked..come on thats kinda playing into their hands. Its like MMORPG's you just cant stop trying to be the best when itll never happen unless you gave up at being a human being, bf2 will go for longer. What i reckon anyway time will tell

i think we should have a choice if u want to keep your rank u can if u dont want to then u dont have to when u go to log in ther can be a messages that says "do u want your bf2 rant to carry over to 2142" then "yes" or "no" because to me it reall dosent matter but i would want my rank to carry over b/c i worked hard for thows points and i dont reall want to stary over on a new game
guys, ranks wont be the same. These are 2 whole different armies. The Eu alliance, and the PAC. The PAC are asian and the EU are north america and europe. I honestly doubt they'll still use the marine corps ranks like they did in bf2....

I can't believe people would want their score transfered over to a new game. Think about it...it's BF2142, not a variation of BF2. If you're that worried about your score, keep playing BF2. People are such morons.
