dont test your graphics on single play it just eats up your system. test it on lan mode theres less lag

I'll say above average as I think it was farcry which I saw quite awhile ago and the graphics were superb
runs smoothly maxed with the sliAA x16 on, and looks damn good, but not totally amazing...crysis on the other hand...
i say OMFG thiese graphics are amazing then my video card totaly craps out on me and the game just *explosion noise* crashes

Built a new computer a little while ago just to play BF2 maxed out
AMD 64 4400
2 gigs OCZ ram
7800 gt eVGA video car
Then went out and picked up a Viewsonic VX2025wm wide-screen LCD monitor and now play at 1680x1050 resolutions. HOLY CRAP it looks good with all the settings maxed out.
I have a second older PC that this replaced. An old Athlon 2100 and an ATI 9600xt. Makes me want to cry when I go back and play a game of BF2 on that PC.

Lighting: Bad, it is all pre rendered. 5/10
Shadows: Bad... not enough of them. They are just all blobs. 4/10
Textures: Pretty good, but not as good as FEAR, or perhaps Oblivion. 8/10
Models: Good except for some of those ugly character models. 7/10
Effects: Explosions and muzzel flashes look bad. No screen effects like HDR or Bloom. 3/10
LOD/Draw Distance: Horrible. Objects lose too much detail over distance. 1/10
Optimisation: Great! Runs smoothly. 10/10
Game options: No V-Sync or AF. WTF? Now we must use inefficent driver AF and Vsync. 1/10
Overall: 7/10
