Anyway, Ive decided to stop pubbing on random servers on TS and decided to set up a server from my place so that my mates can join in for a few chats ect, Ive got some idea, but the problem is in the teamspeak server thing, where you change admin rights and servers and stuff, my problem is that it doesnt update, I fill in the spaces and it just doesnt work, I dont know whats happening, could anyone post a detailed guide on setting up a customized TS server from scratch

Cheers

You have to restart the server when you've done the server I think.

The firewall needs to be opened as well. One way is to get the IPs of your friend and open for all traffic from those IPs. I guess you could open all traffic to that specific application instead but then the access should be passworded. Possibly the firewall have to be restarted as well for such changes to take effect.

Nope, thats not it, Im talking about the web administration pannel, where you control the virtual servers, The server list is not updating on that, even without a firewall and the server being restarted, thanks for trying though

I just need the web server thing where you control privilleges and servers to update, I found out it does eventually, but I dont know if its a lag thing or an option has to be enabled or whatever, the server works fine, this is what i have to do to get it and run it over the internet after everything is done

-Run server
-Run TS, Join lan IP, 192.168.0.2

My friends then just join in from my WAN Ip, I cant connect to the server from that though

I just need help with the updates of the web server thing

I've added you on xfire. You're WAN ip and LAN ip are the same thing, unless you are conflicting term definitions, and if you're not then you have wireless which won't work so well but it can be done.

I need to talk you through portforwarding and alot of TS admin stuff, so voice chat would even work better. Hell, I can set you up on my ts server

Talk to you tomorrow then.

Actually, conscidering timezone differences I dunno.
