BF2S Forums L85 or G36E?

g36e all the way. Just make sure not to get crazy with your shooting. The semi-auto shooting is devistating.

I'll take the L85 over the G36E, but AK ftw.

Who the fuck cares and why are you asking our opinion?

Go onto a server where you're evenly matched with just about everyone else.

For one round, use the L85.

For the next round, use the G36E.

Use the one you do better with, or like more. It's up to you.

It's like asking what's my favorite color in a public discussion. People can't pick for you, go out and look at a bunch of fucking colors and pick for yourselves!

i cant use the L85 for shit, it just feels insuperior. so PKM it is

AK > G36E > L85A1 > M16 , if being objective . But for me - AK > M16 > L85 > no , i don't use that n00bish shit .

They're very different guns, and they're each good in different situations, is how I look at it.

The L85 has full-auto and a good scope for single-shot.  This means that it's great in very close quarters (say Karkands alleys or Warlords palace), and even better on big open spaces (like Wake or Surge).  The weakness of the weapon shows itself inbetween those ranges, when it's full-auto isn't anywhere near accurate enough, and the single shot isn't quick enough.

On the other hand, the G36E is very good at all sorts of ranges.  It's accurate even in burst mode, and while it lacks the single-heat-shot kill of the L85A1, two well-placed bursts will kill most targets.  This, to me, makes it a much more versatile weapon.  But, with this versatility comes its own weaknesses.  It's not as amazing in close combat because it's only got burst-fire, not full-auto, and it's not as good at very long range, since it doesn't have a scope, and you can't get one-hit-kills.

So...  which is better?  Well, depends on what you're doing.  For close combat, (if you can't take an AK...), use the L85.  For sniping, use the L85.  For everything else, use whatever you feel most comfortable with.

I think ive chosen the L85 simply because i get A LOT more killz with it . but thanks for all the input, i have karmad who i think should be karmad lol
