Unless there is tking going on i'll stick with the team. I don't care too much about winning or losing, i definetly play to win but if the team doesn't have it, i don't care.

Unless it is clear that the teams will always be unbalanced, I will never disconnect from the server. I will only change sides if my friends are on the other side. I usually chose to stay on the same team, a bad team does not rob me of my ability to kill
I cry in the corner...
It actually depends on the server im on, sometime i stick it out, sometimes i switch asap.

call the boys up, tell em log on now, and precede to make the comeback of a lifetime
i think the people who switch are pretty lame
i mean, who cares if you have 100,000 losses on your stats? it doesn't make you a worse player playing on a bad team, hell it should make you a better one
if you have to do most thing's by yourself on a team, don't you think it would make you a better player because you need to survive in order to accomplish what you want to do?
that's my opinion anyways

I'll change team at the start of the next round. However, during the round that I am playing on the sucky team I begin by trying to form a useful squad and if I can't, I just play for the points
I usually just play on the side I spawn into (usually the losing side) unless my friends are on the other side and we're going to play as a team. But we usually switch at the end of the round to the other team because we like a challenge. I love how everyone team switches so they can feel all big about the win they get. If they were winning before you got there they probably didn't need your help. It was the other team that needed the help, and you're kind of a coward if you don't give it to them. Besides, since most people are team switching pansies that just means there are more targets if you're on the underdog side.
The only situation where I log out of the server is if it's a map where the jets are completely running the show. If that's the case there is nothing I can do about it since I can't fly, so I just leave. I've got no interest in being target for come candy ass jet pilot all round. I always love the servers where the two or three best pilots all get on the same side and won't fight each other. You'd think that they'd want to dogfight with each other a little bit and have a little more of a challenge than flying around the whole round with their landing gear out so they can go nice and slow and bomb the hell out of people. But I wouldn't know since I don't fly. My suspicion, though, is that they're mostly just stat mongers.

It drives me friggin nuts when I am on a team of mo's who don't have the faintest clue how to work together. I have been on a lot of SF servers lately where our side has gunny's and below and the other side is 2 star's and colonel's, etc. and they are kicking my team's arse...aargh so frustrating.

Nah, usually I'll take a few good players on my team, invite them to a squad then talk over voip to get some team work going.

SF seems to attract people who define "teamwork" as merely joining a squad to get closer to battle....Cheddarmuff wrote:

I dont bother and I fight as well as I can. I trust the "people on the other side get bored and leave" factor. most of the time after a few minutes/rounds team will even up themselves.
You Must have made it Multi-select.
You can't always be on the winning team. I stick with them most of the time, but not always. If I'm on a team where everyone's teamkilling for jets, there isn't a single damn squad, our commander's flying around, and I'm the ONLY one who can take or defend spawnpoints, then yeah, I'm disconnecting or switching teams after the round is over and there's NO sign of improvement.
I snipe
Or timepad transport by driving around aimlessly
Or if its a map like Dalian, I get some aviator time in.
Essentially I use bad team servers to time pad. :\

If I'm on the team that sucks major ass, I snipe

If the team I'm on is horrible (waay worse than me, which is pretty bad), I'll get a little pissed, but that's no reason to jump ship. I'll give it a few rounds to see if the teams balance back out. If nothing else, I'll switch to a kit I don't play much, like sniper of spec-ops, and get some practice in.
All but one option in the poll are pretty lame, catering mostly to overly stat conscious folks.
I'll go sniper and just sit back and snipe. Or fly to get some practice. I'll give it a few rounds to see if it evens out. I dont ever jump ship. I'll disconnect and go to another server if its way one sided and my team just doesnt stand a chance even if i get the gold.
Depends how bad it is. If we have at least a couple of bases and are not being completely raped then I will usually try and fight on, maybe go round the side and take a couple of back bases. If it's appaling, i.e. like one base left and only pfcs, i'll switch.
If the team I am on is showing 0 teamwork even after I make a squad and try to invite people, i will play till the end of the round then switch and try to find a squad that is working together, if there isnt one on either team i will play till the end of the second round and leave.
For me Working as a team > wins/losses

The only option is fighting it out till the round ends, that way you will still get some points. You get the loss anyway, disconnect early or not.
Then you disconnect, because usually everyone on one team is switched to the other army, meaning youre stuck with the shit-team once again. Disconnect and save yourself some pain.

I'll start a new squad and go try to win the round myself. People will usually see you've got a high score and join your squad to get in on the action.
LOL! Obviously I do the opposite. Got my 11th PH today.KtotheIMMY wrote:
I try not to get another purple heart. Then I usually leave to find a better server.
I picked "go cry in a corner", because technically that's what I do. I don a Snipers kit and wage my own private war against the enemy, picking people off and staying alive, not nessisarily being any great help to my team, but I have fun anyway. Luckily I don't care about W:L ratio for the WCR any more, (I also don't care to get my comandeering hours up either - I hate comandeering!)

The fact that most people stick with the team is pretty respectable. For me, if I am with some clanmates, we have fun trying to change the game around in our favor. If I am by myself, I'll give the team one more chance to redeem themselves, then I just switch servers if they fail once again.
what, you don't break out your uber 1337 snyper ryfle and pwn3ri53 all opposition in a single shot?Nyte wrote:
