256mb Geforce 6600. Rather underpowered for a 256. I get steady 30fps with low and med settings.
Nvidia geforce 6600 gt
Still waiting to see someone to figure out how to SLI two of these bad boys (7950GX2)

Then again that would draw 314 watts at idle and 552 watts under load. Even if someone could get them working in SLI, I wonder what PSU could handle a high performance rig with 2 of those on board.

I have an old ATI X850 XT
It works for bf2.
It works for bf2.
I currently have a HIS X1600XT but the 7950 is very tempting....I'm going to wait for what ATi has to offer and for DX10 cards.

i have the TAGAN on order
Correct. Nvidia says it has no plans to support this board in an SLI config though so it will be up to a partner or the community to develop this driver.MERCFLF8 wrote:

I like the Tagan better myself after looking over both. Nice unit.

Always had Nvidia.
Tried ATI once and it have me headaches with all the artifacting on my screen.
Switched back to Nvidia and will stick to it... (6800GT)

If I stick 1 thing on medium with my 9550 it might as well be a windows wallpaper cos nothing's moving!

7900GT now, 9800 Pro before. The 9800 served me very well in the past, but the 7900 is where it's at for now. Don't really have a preference between the two brands, whatever is powerful, stable and cheap.
my new card has sweet 512MB

I have a 1GB of RAM and a 2.2GHz processor to power it. It looks great and there's minimal lag. Try getting a sound card, it'll make everything sound better and it'll relieve your processor of the great stress caused by integrated audio, meaning less lag.DoctorFruitloop wrote:

Nvidia is by far the best graphics cards,Tried ATI ...wasn't impressed.Just bought myself the Gold edition 7800GT with 512MB and 1.4 Nanoseconds.Play Battlefield 2 with this and the game will not jump anymore and use the Graphics till their full extent.
Another good thing is the drivers...why spend time looking for an ATI driver when you can go to Nvidia and get the latest update which is for all cards.

XFX 7800 GTX.
Being a Linux user, ATI's linux support sucks Donkey balls. Nvidia is the only way to go for linux.

I haven't tested it yet with FPS. Let me try it right now.DoctorFruitloop wrote:

ATi has had a unified driver for at least two years now. One driver works for all Radeon cards.rededition wrote:
