Do they even have channels?  I want to know so I can see if it might be a good idea to get a better sound card for 10$, i'm looking to get this just so I can be done with the Integrated sounb for BF2, i've heard that any sound card is better than integrated.  I also listen to music a lot while doing normal computing like right now.

You can't really get a good sound card for under $20...

I want to replace my integrated and get a little bit more from my speakers.  I'm going to be using this Pavilion 750n for a long time.

There are better sound cards than that one, save up to 50 bucks and get a slightly outdated Creative Labs Sound Blaster Live!

Just save your money for a few weeks and get a MadDog Multimedia card, you can pick up a 7.1 DSP with digital out for around $50.

The problem for younger people in todays gaming market is that it takes money, and quite a bit to get something that fully supports the latest games. Its funny when younger people say if your over 20 and playing a game that much you need a life...they dont realize that 20-35 is the targeted demographic now. They are the people that have the money so they can pay more for games and pay for the new hardware to run them.

It must suck especially on bf2. I couldnt imagine playing the game on the graphics that I see in some of the screenshots posted.

Ya, games are starting to die in the teenager crowd thanks to money... It is like another gambling addiction to adults.

many motherboards have been coming out with 5.1 integrated and now some if the higher-end ones even have 7.1 integrated.  quite useful since SLI cards only have space for about 2 or 3 PCI cards

This is a 2004 OEM computer so I definately don't have 7.1, lol.

I found this PCI sound card in the garage, plugged it in, Windows installed the drivers automatically and now it works.  I want to test it with Mr. Brightside by The Killers.  It always sounds like crap usually, if it works better this one's a keeper.

OMG, the song sounds SOOOO much better.  I'm glad I tried this new card, now for BF2.  No more integrated for me, partially because Windows automatically deleted it.  Hehe

BF2 even goes faster because it doesn't have to focus any processor energy on shitty integrated anymore.  The graphics look better too.  I'm so glad that I tried it, I didn't think it would work because I thought most of the stuff in the garage was from the Pentium 1 era when my dad built those.
