Ok i have the Battlefield 2 expantion pack...i just got it like two days ago. Now i dont have the first battlefield games only battlefield 2 and battlefield special forces..... Right now my game isnt working...which is really messing with me...I dont no why it wont work.. I click on the icon the icon popps up...and than it goes to a black screen for like 10 sec....after that it dissapears and goes back to my desktop.....Now everything i need to run this game, i do have...Meaning my PC is capable of running this game.... But i dont have all the patches.... I only have two patches....patch 1.2 and Battlefield 2 patch - full client (1.3) would i need all the patches to run this game???? if so how many patches are there? and where could i find all the patches...
PLEASE HELP!!!

you only need to install the patch 1.3 full.  Don't install any other patches.  If you have spec forces, I would install the original game, special forces, then the 1.3 patch

I Don't Think that is a patch problem.  If you had all the patches wouldnt the game run and you just would get all "red" servers in the server finder?  I think you either have outdated drivers, your vid card is messed, or you can search for badhq's "Fix List".

You may also need to uninstall all of it then reinstall and just lay in the full patch of 1.3.

It might sound silly but if you have multiple log in users you need to make sure your under the user name you installed and patched the game under.

Ok you all tell me install the full 1.3  now were can i get the full 1.3 patch???  i dont remember where i got mine.....also my video card aint messed up...I just bought it this morning and installed it this morning lol...so its the not  the video card... I might acually reinstall everything and delete the patches i have right now........  is there anything thing else that could be wrong???? thanks for your help!

Like I said you need to uninstall and start with a clean slate.

Where I get my patchs is just type in your search filecloud and you can get all the latest patchs from there but just do the full patch.

on another point did the problems start with your "NEW" video card, if so is it a ATI card you will need the latest drivers from there web site.

BF2 will not run with some ATI cards unless you get there latest drivers. I believe you will need ATI's 5.1 drivers
