How can you speed up "verifing client data" it takes for ever to load a map.

Raid 0 with twin hard-drive and 2 gig of ram, Should get you in rather quickly

Make sure its decent ram, like 400mhz at least

Both Trigger_Happy_92 & FFLink13 are correct.

EDIT: sorry to the other correct posters but these two were the only ones when I started writing this.

The load time in between maps is mainly governed by how quickly your PC can take the compressed files on your hard disk and put them into memory.
If you have 2Gb of ram [or more] and are not using a pagefile then all the game data is in ram. Faster, better ram will help this process but not unless you have super quick hard disks in a raid array.
A super quick RAID array of hard disks will help the load time a lot [I use 2 x Western Digital Raptors in RAID 0].
There is a CPU hit during this process. If your CPU peaks during map loads then this will increase the wait.
There is also the verify at the end which involves some checks of the game files with the server. A broadband connection should be more than enough for this not to be a bottle neck, but if there is heavy use on the internet connection [such as P2P or file sharing apps] this could again slow down the process.

Hope this helps man.

The biggest difference I noticed was in hard drive speed and not so much ram. After a 512 meg ram increase I didn't notice much. After I had a hard drive fail and had to disable my raid 0 array the load times are exruciating. Running a 120 gig 7200rpm, but with two of em in raid 0 it's about 30 seconds or more faster to load.
