I disagree with you. 1/1 they have rate of fire and mobility. If a sniper tries to counter snipe me, movement is my friend, rarely will I get killed. It is just to hard to hit someone moving if he knows how to evade properly ( I no I do). So effective range for the sniper will diminish rapidly and you will find yourself in the kill zone of every weapon exept shotguns. Than its is pestol/nades/clays against a G3? I am a full time sniper. In a one on one combat snipers will lose against every kit but engineer. In a game situation, the focus is not 100% on the snipers that is when they can contribute best to the team.
In this scenario though i think a group of good snipers should hold their own, but it sure wouldn't be easy. The medics would have to get through a minefield of claymores, and that's only the ones who get close enough. The G36e can't pick off a sniper at 250m+ at least not consistently. I guess a revive-rush would probably get though in the end though. Meh.

OK, yes, I'm happy to organise another competition, this time pitting snipers against medics.
I've sent 908741059871059781 a PM with some info and ideas and we'll get some movement towards a date and rules etc.
I'll have a place for people to sign up soon.
Personally I don't think it'll prove a damn thing either way but it sounds like a fun event and with plenty of e-dicks on the line there's lots to play for.

Towelly please don't take direct offence to this as I am just trying to make a point with regards to team play. Your sniper K/D ratio is 1.3 . So you are taking out just over 1 person for everytime you die. This doesnt seem as benificial as someone who is constantly keeping its team alive, providing support, taking out enemy vehicles or capping flags. I just think snipers are not as big an asset in match play. This match is being offered with no vehicles or commanders. Take that as a gift to you snipers. UAV's and art'y would kill any hopes you had to of succeeding.

you dirty dirty mexican. Yes the snipers will be crying when we get close enough to shock paddle your asses, this is how it will go
1. Medics are getting mowed down by the snipers at long range as they run into attack however medics keep reviving and healing
2.the medics with the scoped guns will start taking out the snipers.
3. The medics get closer and the claymores start to go off
4. revive
5. revive
6. the snipers start jumping around with there knifes as the shockpaddles electricute them.
7. Medics win and we have a big medi kit party

we may as well have assault or support or spec ops in that case. I think the point of this is that if the snipers are so good they should be able 2 pwn us all regardless of medic bags and reviving
