I can't remember where I saw it damn. It was a long while ago. It was in response to a ninja website or something. At anyrate there was a girl who apparently liked this website and when they had a ninja look alike contest she ended up dressing up like a half naked ninja and sending in a photo. Basically she was showing some breast and had this outfit that looked more lika an anime character than an actual ninja. Though her face was covered appropriately in ninja fashion with a very interesting mascara (sp?) color eye shadow thing going on. I really need to find that picture again and post it here.

Though this may be true I have to say that an accomplished katana wielder I would think would be able to get out of the way of a rather heavy swinging claymore and strike two times with their katana. One on one I don't think the claymore wielder would have a chance. But that's the difference of weapons. One uses length and weight to kill while the other uses sharpness and quickness to kill. Both are equally deadly in the hands of an accomplished sword wielder IMHO.

Yea couldn't find the pic I was talking about. But looking at quite a few cosplay anime ninja girls yea it was probably something similar to that. Pick a random scantly clad anime ninja chick and imagine someone with a decent body pulling it off for cosplay and you will get the picture I saw.

Very interesting. It took 7 bullets to the same area of the blade to break it. It even split a few of them in half. Pretty impressive for a hand crafted sword blade of you ask me. A blade like that should easily go through flesh and bone.

Yes, very impressive. Keep in mind a bullet is pretty much liquid lead flying through the air, where as the sword is solid. I like how some of the bullets split in two. I also like the asian subtitles over the asian subtitles.

Got to disagree with you there. The Japanese Katana is the only sword that combined vast strength with superior sharpness.
If by 'Claymore' you mean the vast scottish 2-handed or 'hand and a half' sword, it would almost certainly come off worst. It's more brittle than the katana. Obviously, skill would be required to survive, but the warrior with the swift katana would have the Claymore warrior cut to ribbons in about 15 seconds (if that).

If you live in the UK, there is a program about this doing the rounds on Sky Tv
