Vote for what you are condition you are currently experiancing with the Battlefield 2 VOIP. Remember that VOIP and your microphone are two separate things. Just because your microphone isn't working, doesn't mean the VOIP is broken. If you can hear people (squad members/commander) than VOIP is working for you.

For me, it always used to work, and now it doesn't. Whether it was the patch or something I did with my PC, I'm not sure.

it also depends what sound card you have since i used my oboard sound and get voip for about 5mins and then it goes (didnt matter what drivers, directx i used), i switched to a creative sb card it would always work.

I had never had a problem with Voip prior to 1.3. However now, it seems on some servers, my squad can hear me, but I cannot hear them. Seems to be only selective servers. Ventrillo FTW

I do believe that because of whatever reason, VOIP isn't working for anyone. Check today when you play BF2. So far it doesn't work for myself, my brother, my friends, or my clan members. It always used to before though.

my voip only works when im playing on a server 32man or less, if i try to join a server with more than 32 i get the old 'There is a problem with your connection' at the kit selection screen and get booted straight out.  work that one out
