got a problem with the install
i downloaded the 32bit version, tryed to open it. but i got a message
This disc contains a "UDF" file system and requires an operating system
that supports the ISO-13346 "UDF" file system specification.
and nothing else, what could be the problem and how would i fix it?

I'd run it but I don't have a spare drive.

Installed Vista x86 today on one of my partitions today.  Looks pretty Cool.

Problem is I have not got a BF2 DVD (as it snapped inside my Drive a while back)

I tried Daemon Tools (even 3.33) Alcohol 120% + PowerISO + had NO joy in mounting the mini Image.

Basically I can't play BF2 .. any ideas ?

It's not too bad as it's my partners PC,  NOT MINE   (I'm not that gullible)   but she's quite Pi$$ed off.

Either burn it to a DVD or mount the iso with Daemon Tools in an Windows XP enviroment.

Burn the DVD if you want a clean install.  Run the iso if you want to install over XP.  I did but that's cause I use Server 2K3 as my base OS.

Sorry for the 2nd.

Has anyone gotten it to run with normal video just like it would on XP, or 2K3?

I have a very UGLY, looking run under native Vista 32 and under WinXP SP2 Compatibility.

I'm using an ATI card and I even have DirectX 10. (From the Software SDK from Microsoft)
and it's not pretty at all.

Gamma corrections won't hold with the Vista Beta Catalyst Control Center.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Installed it Sunday night (since formatted and installed it to a partition) and it's pretty damn sweet.

However, Java makes IE7 not load and all Java based programs (ex: Azureus) can't handle Areo. Ultramon also refuses to install (nooo, gotta have my 2nd taskbar). BF2 runs fine though, besides not being able to use the caps lock key.

Anyway, I've gone back to XP as my primary, for the time being at least.

I will try and see if I can get Azureus to work tonight.  I pretty sure it should work but I could be wrong.

It worked fine, but Aero wouldn't work on it.

Winamp (Bit weird when changing skins, x86/x64)
Could someone link me to a Winamp that works with Vista 64?
I've been looking for it all over but I've only managed to memorize the error message

(Heh, over a year old thread)
