im new too but i met a friend on a sf server and like hes new to both verstions of bf2 so i help him out a little and we have fun. but any good servers would be great

Lol Ive had some GREAT SF rounds and got alot of badges. I got basic and vet sniper specialist by sniping enough for basic then rushing the spawn and KNIFING them all till I got vet also got a silver there would have been gold but DAMN commander got more than me. I was best combat though lolz Ill post everythin I got in teh awards thread later

I second the FireFight server as one of the best for a rotation of day maps instead of a 24/7 map which will get you burned out. Get on Ventrillo with those guys also. Fun times! All guys in their 30's and 40's so you don't get stupid little kids admining the server to hell.

I'll 2nd that. It's a let down to go back and play vanilla BF2, at least for me. Players are more serious, maps are more detailed, and I can't recall the last time I was tk'd for a vehicle on a SF server. Oh, and the grapple and zip lines add a whole new dimension.
