He means thre have probably been many threads exactly the same as this one.

However, I think the AK-101 is my favourite as medic.

For a 1 on 1 proned shoot out, I think the PKM is the best, but the AK-101 is a more all round and balanced weapon.

good ROF
accurate when burst
extremely accuraty when single
good for urban/alleyway fighting by spraying
good damage
cool reload animation

Sorry honestly not trying to insult you here, the AK-101 and AK-47 are quite different accuracy wise, the AK-47 is no where near as accurate at range on single shot, or in rapid fire mode at close range.

But hey, there is no reason not to like it, I mean, its an AK 47, its cool

And I also Agree with teh other poster, the G3 is excellent aswell.

Derailing rules! I think that a shovel would be the perfect unlock for Engineer class. Very lethal, and you can make fortifications with it.

IMO there are only two guns on that list that even are choices. The G36E and the L85A1. For one simple reason: They're a part of the medic kit (sure the AK47 medic rifle is also cool, but you can only get it when playing MEC).
I can see from the poll that I'm the ONLY one who thinks the L85 is superior to the G36E, I take that to be because most of the people here like to die a lot. Sure the G36E is nice when you go around a corner, but if you're a GOOD medic you stay put BEHIND the front lines and help lay down suppressive fire, and the L85 can take out snipers and stationary targets REALLY well because of the nice sights and good zoom. You do NOT rush into the thick of things untill your squddies needs reviving/healing. If you do you might aswell go assault and let a REAL medic do the healing. The G36E is really only superior to the L85 on maps with close fog or similar.. Like Karkand. All others maps, the L85 owns.

I tend to agree with you there.

However, on a map like Karkand if you are working in a squad that has other medics in it, its better to get stuck in.

Most of the time, if you are killed, you get revived and you dont get teh death counted against your score. Also because you are in teh action, you get teh chance to revive alot more people, and usually end up with a pretty decent score at teh end of the round.
