De allereerste Battlefield 2 Infantry-Cup zal op Drome 13 een feit worden! Bullet en Mr.Headshott, beide bezoekers op Drome 13, organiseren tijdens Drome 13 deze competitie.

Bij deze competitie worden in BF2 dus uitsluitend infantry units gebruikt, geen vehicles. Infantry-only spelen in BF2 is haalbare kaart dankzij het feit dat er gebruik wordt gemaakt van de BF2Max competition mod. Hiermee worden bestaande maps aangepast om ze goed te kunnen gebruiken voor infantry-only battles. Ook wordt er zelfs een geheel nieuwe map toegevoegd.
