BF2S Forums Why do people consider jihading jeeps noobish?

C4-ing a jeep is ok, in my eyes, when dealing with a tank whore and spawn campers.  However, "taking enemies with you" shouldn't be the goal.  People who suicide set me off.  Of course, blowing me up in a tank pisses me off because I don't camp.  I try to keep the tank moving and cap flags.  But whatever.  I'll deal with it.  But suicide yourself while C4ing me?  Then your just stupid and a noob looking for points.

(Of course all this changes when I go for the Vet Explosives)

You should have seen me last night.  I was doing it to get a teamate kicked for not following the server rules.  I Jihad him once then I just kept driving the humviee and he would shoot me till he got kicked/banned from the server.  It was a Infantry only server and he was in a tank.  I thought it was funny as hell and so did everyone else on the server. lol

jihaddin is soo fun and the poeple you kill get so P.O.

this should stop most Jihad jeeps, cos people tend to get out the jeep and if you're driving you wont be next to the jeep when it explodes

I'll have to agree it takes more skill to Jihad jeep than to run up and plant C4.  I mean you have to know how to drive, then know when to exit at the right time.  I mean when I do it I really don't care I don't even try to surive, I just switch to the back seat and go with it.(More authentic)  Plus when people do its mosly just to destory armor not anything else.  I see if they want to do it let them, they are the one getting the sucide points if they die.

Speaking of which I was on the same server as I mentioned before.  I sniped my own teammate cause he was on the roof doing nothing while the flag below was being capped.  He was not commander or anything and he was moving around but not doing anything.  I hate peopel like that.

My opinion on jihad jeeps is this; I think it is pretty lame in my book.  It is almost like you can't kill someone in a tank other than ramming them with c4.  That is why they made the anti-tank class to take out tanks.  You won't ever see me doing that.  I always take out a tank with my anti-tank missles.  Or I simply run up to a tank and blow it up with c4 instead of using a jeep or whatever to ram it.  I hardly ever say anything when I get jihad jeeped.  I just get another tank and rape the person. 

I was under the assumption that "jihad jeep" kills were when the person hits you fully expecting to blow themselves up with you, every single time.  That my friends is not skill.

If you think the actions required to "jihad" a tank take skill, you probably think it takes skill to kill a person by shooting a grenade launcher or AT missle at their feet, even if you are so close you basically couldn't miss with an assault rifle if you tried.  I mean, you had to WALK up to them without someone shooting you, right?
Or maybe medic reviving is a skilled action, because you have to crouch/prone on someone and click your mouse on 'em, with the potential of being shot whilst doing so.

I'm not pissed off so much by people who drive up to you, get out & run away, and then blow the vehicle AND you up (living on to keep playing).  If I die like that, it's my fault plain and simple, and I feel like the noob in that situation.  Jihad jeeping doesn't really piss me off much either, but people who act like they are a badass for pulling it off when you are in heated combat are retarded (I'm picturing the bridge in Karkand, as MEC in a tank trying to keep USMC from pouring through the bottleneck, trying to shoot SRAW infantry while also keeping jihad jeeps away from you...eventually you let one slip if there is enough infantry and other armor shooting at you).

From a stats situation, what's the best K ratio you could possibly expect from jihad tactics?  1.00? 1.3?  Neither one of those points to a skilled player unless you have tons of team points a round.

I don't think any one's arguing it takes an skill to Jihad jeep.  I don't know why people keep acting like THAT'S the issue.  Either way, it take MUCH less skill to operate armor.
