Anyway i know there is thousands out there who are the same as me between ranks and iam wondering if you feel the same like its never ending to get the next rank .
To be honest i think 30,000 points between ranks is a bit harsh but nowhere near as bad as it was in the old ranking system .

Omfg it took me fooooorrrrreeeeevvvvvveeeeeeerrrrrr to get to 50,000. i only play about 2 hours /day if im lucky, i was a Master Sgt. like 4 months, it didn't seem like id ever get there.
Oh yea, by the way, I haven't been promoted since I installed 1.03 patch, bam from Corporal to First Sergeant and nothing since .
I am sure after I reach 50.000 pts EA will reduce the level to 40.000 (sigh)
yeah its taken me so long i just give up on it its gonna take me like another 3-4 months straight to get to Sgt Major.

The way I see it, I'm just past 20,000 and I might not ever get to 50,000, so I just say fuck it and play it to play it. I still have lots of medals and badges to get along the way, so it's not like there's absolutely no incentive between 20,000 and 50,000.
yeah earning 30 points for one rank is far too boring... but i want to have the l96a1
in my opinion, ea should have lowered the requirement for master sergeant from 50k to maybe 35k, then you would only have 10k - 15k between 2 ranks... (higher ranks would have to be adjusted, too)

Hihger rank requirements are fine imo. Other wise we would see a lot of 4 star generals in game. If u dont have time to play so many hours to get it then you dont deserve it NOte: this is only for high ranks 2,3,4star general etc.-
My current global score rate is 50,000 a year, I have played for 11 months and 1 week or something now, and I'm at 48,000

Yea I remember it took forever to finally get 1st seargant. I think i'm at 58,000 now...after this i have to wait 15,000 for the next rank *sigh*, no wonder why there's guys with big ranks who just start flashing and shooting their own teammates
im at 38,000 and i still have another 80 days to go....i honestly want my sniper unlock more than the rank but the rank would be nice....i cant remember the last time i ranked up...i know i took a picture of it cuz i knew it was going to be awhile till i got my next rank up.....sigh (as i play the worlds smallest violin)

I feel ripped off though through my whole ranking up... In the olden days (when corp was 10,500) I was close to getting staff sergent (50k) then the damn patch comes out and I ranked to sergent major (highest rank at the time)... next patch comes out boom I'm a god damn'd Major... few weeks later I make it to colonel... and a another damn patch comes out and guess what... 2 star general... in otherwords it doesn't seem liek I've worked for it and it was all just given to me =/

It's a looong road, but when you start getting close, you can feel it.. I ended up playing a shit load to finally get it!! I did like some other commentor's.. played a lot as Commander! A win is double the points. So if you're hitting 30 pts, you're getting 60. I often look for some maps that play 64 player maps but are always filled up (Kubra Dam... ) get some high points and go from there.

The bags under my eyes are getting worse, man! I'm at 45,000! I got a nice boost of about 450 points yesterday because I was in =A2G=Squishee's squad. OMG, he is the best player evar. There wasn't one round where he didn't get less than 100 points. Too bad alot of points of his are from reviving.
only 8,000ish away now i can taste it .Iam no longer bored of the long road, the blood is pumping again now 50,000 here i come .
Playing BF2 is NOT A CHORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! if you dont like it dont play it. geez if getting 30,000 points sounds horrible to you why do it?

i got 1st sarge end of last month already at 29,000 yeh and it is a pain
