I also played a lot with him on the Warlord Killing Field server and have to say that he was really good! I never saw him stat padding or cheating. The last months i occasionally looked on which servers he was playing during the day and i did never see him on a knive and pistol only server. That does not mean that he never was on such a server but for sure he did not earn lots of points on such servers. It is a shame that his stats have been resetted. Kain, my deepest sympathy!!

You are correct it's against the rules and I'm sure he clicked the acceptance. Since he was a "top" player, I'm quite certain he was aware of them as well. However, many people simply click "I accept" thinking it's the standard legal rules, not one about which server not to play on. I play with a group of twenty, and majority don't know K&P are against the rules--they just look in ranked servers and join any. once again, who gives a rats ass what happened to him. the top 10 are not gods, and in most of the cases, people with way too much fucking time on their hands. now, go back to playing before i have to summon the 11-20 leaderboard guys
Whilst I agree that EA should enforce their ROE, (yeah, flame away) I also think that they should target the servers/server admins that are running the 'illegal games' first & not just punish players that play on open public servers!
Ok so [N)@(M]Kain broke the rules but what about the server(s) that he was playing on, after all, I've just searched in BF2 & found 38 servers playing K/P only & whilst I can't confirm that those rules were being enforced by the admins (coz I didn't risk joining the server & having someone screenie me!! ;P) why call a server 'Knife & Pistol Only' if you're not playing that!!??

its very stupid when the take their points because he plays in pistol server and there is no pistol action..its worse when you play 24/7bf2 then you losse all points..he is not very happy..!
I was never in the top 10 or ever had a desire to be. I suppose i got a bit careless when i was spamming those grapples/zips around. Ah well im just playing again and enjoying it with a new account. Ea should deserver list any with a knife/pistol etc keywords to prevent people playing on them. Doesnt seem like they are doing anything about it. I just take it what it is a game and try not to get worked up about it.
i was just playing with dodge_this on the baf server for 3 rounds ... pretty interesting result ... getting teamkilled 3 times, getting called noob, n@m-idiot and stuff like this and see him baserape the carrier and the little island of the carrier with arty ... so is he better than what he complains about? no he is not! do u think others can move when they get arty on their head all the time? no they cant, so whats the difference about heli and arty in this case? there is none. and even after telling him he should stop it he mostly said i dont care ... in the end, 10 tickets befor the end he was stoping it, but i dont care about the 10 tickets. i saw enough for 290 tickets earlier!dodge_this(fr) wrote:
