After recently returning from Thailand (on my honeymoon) I found this FANTASTIC however what Beano has failed to point out about the 555 comment is that not only do the Thai's use this as thier online version of LOL but they also say it to you face to face in the street when talking to them.
Coolbeano sling me a server IP or 2 and i will see if i can join you from here in Aus. I get a great ping to UK and US servers considering the distance ( around 175 to 200 but that aint bad when you look at it).
I found very few places in Thailand that had decent connections however so although i like Saark's idea of you coming to play with us on G'arena or Node servers I dont know that its a feasible idea.
Anyway lap it up while your there man, the gaming might suck but by jeebus the cheap ass drinking is awesome Im hoping to be over there (Bangkok only) in the next couple of months in which case I will be headed to the nearest net cafe (to the Indra regent hotel cos I get free accom there) to start getting some cheap and easy points lol.

And thanks for that 555 comment, I actually try and avoid communication with the Thais
I've tried connecting to the Australian servers but I average 250-300. Commandable, but usually i'll just get booted for the ping. As for the thai servers, just click on the first link on the first post. Or in BF2, just type 'ea th' into the filter.

edit: oh and yes thaksin is in a temporary seat while (once again) he wastes millions of baht for a snap election by 2007. He stepped down after the King asked him to (thankfully he stuck to his word) but then jumped back in claiming someone needs to run the country in the meantime, because no one was thanks to him.
