Haha thats awesome, I don't feel like using it or anything but it's pretty cool, I bet it took a while to find a decent water color lol. I like how you made China vs MEC, I do that all the time lol, I made Dalian Plant Chinese SF vs MEC SF, It is so uber and it just makes sense.

Mec Commander: "Lets go steal oil from China lolz"
Mec Guy: "LOL!"
Chinese Commander: "WTF, Go stop those noobs from siphoning our shit!"

Also I might make a small little update on how to make custom kits soon, if I can be bothered lol. Glad everyone likes playing and messing around with single player as much as I do

Small update.

How to change level names.

This is easy, go to the level your moding, open the Info folder, then open the DESC file with notepad. Look for the text that reads...

Code:

<name> The name of this level </name>

And change it to whatever you please. I changed Dalian Plant to "Grand Theft Carrier" Just dont change the level folders name, I think it makes you CTD.

Hey,Citizen One,have you actually tried to mix the US with the Rebels or the Insurgents kits?
I've already seen the AT guys without helmet,but no one seems to have tried the Insurgents yet.

Ok so Citizen One, wheres the tutoiral on putting AF vehicles in other mod folders, like mine. I installed AF yesterday and I remade the OBF2 (now Ownage BF2 instead of SAK2008) folder to have the booster client and server in it and all that and it still doesent work! Im trying to replace, on Dalian Plant, the F35-B's with the A-10, AH-1Z with the LittleBird, J-10 with the SU-39, and the Z-10 with the ED-350, the MEC Scout chopper. I replaced the run strings in the Static Objects file, but they dont work, how do I do this?

You nearly have it right. Make a copy of XPACK, not BF2 and move the files within the Booster Client and Zips into your new mods Objects Client and Zip, and it should be ok, you have everything else right. Oh and dont forget to replace the vehicle templates within the game modes folder and stuff.

Did you un-zip it? And if you did, right click the file, hit properties, and un-check the "Read-only" box. Once you save it, it's best to make it read-only again.

New update. How to get MASSIVE scores

You know the drill, make a new copy of Special Forces blah blah, go into the following directory. (Yes my mod is called "This_Is_Awesome" )

Code:

Open the file "scoringCommon" with notepad and look for where it determines the scores.

SCORE_TEAMDAMAGE = -2
SCORE_TEAMVEHICLEDAMAGE = -1

And just edit that to whatever you please. I changed it to arcade style 100 pointage. And yes you could edit this so you recive points for teamkilling bots. You meanie.

OK, First we have to find the file. The file I edited is:

\mods\Crazy_mod\booster_client\Vehicles\xpak2_vehicles\xpak2_musclecar\textures\xp2_musclecar_c.dds

Then, you have to convert the DDS file to a PNG file. (So we can open it up in mspaint.) I've found a good converter for that.
Next, open the DDS file in the converter and save the file as a PNG. You can then edit the "picture" in mspaint.
Once you are done open the picture up in the converter and save it as a DDS file. And then just replace the file.

EDIT- Now that I think about it, that program is more a DDS viewer that can save the file as PNG...
