Yes, sometimes the Pentium 965 outperforms the E6700 in MT, but take a look at gaming performance - there is a lead by 40-80% compared to the XE965.

Sites are crap when it comes to benchmarking your PC. All they do is read your specs.rawls2 wrote:

Get one of Futuremark's apps and then run it on your PC. It'll give it a full testing.
that and sisoft sandra are pretty good.
