Well I just saw it. Ddin't follow the comic books, but a fun movie to see nonetheless.
They leave it open for part 4 so don't go expecting complete closure.

I loved the movie and I thought it was the best one yet. They did leave a few parts out (like where was Scott's brother at his funeral? (read my username and you'll know why I'm mad)) Other than that one part, I really enjoyed it.
And to those of you who asked, Juggernaut did say "I'm the Juggernaut, BITCH!!" to Kitty Pride (Shadowcat) when she sank him into the floor.

Ian McKellan won't be in the Magneto movie, either, and it's doubtful that it'll be out next year.
Gambit wasn't in the movie because (most likely) the actor they wanted to play him wouldn't, so they wrote him out of the script.
I just saw it (spoiler following) and was kind of pissed that they offed prof x, and didn't know to stay after the credits till after I saw it, so knowing what happens then, I'm not so pissed after all.

edit: There will be (at least one) Wolverine spin off movie, and I think Rebecca Romjin was asked about a Mystique movie but dunno what happened with that...

i thought the movie was pretty weak... all those flying/wire scenes looked super cheesy (watch kung fu hustle and you will see top notch wire work) ... i thought the opening scene for the second movie with nightcrawler rippin through the whitehouse was pretty cool, but hes absent from the movie couldnt figure out why guess they didnt have the cash for those effect...

ha, i saw the bee. it would have been hillarious if it stung him and he started to freak out, but they wouldnt have used it if it did anyway, so o well.

i thought it was a good movie but there were some problems I noticed, Juggernaut isn't a mutaut so at that last wall he would have smashed right through it, if you notice when Magneto rips the bridge up its daylight and when he sets it down on the island its pitch black out hmmmmmmmmmm must have took a few hours to get that bridge over there
