Hey gang, searched for it but could not find anything concerning the newest community update. Here it is:

Community Update - 6/2/06

Attention Soldiers and Server Admins!

The teams here at DICE and at EA want to take a moment to acknowledge that we are aware of the issues that some are experiencing with the latest release.

We are continuing our work to review and find potential solutions to the problems affecting many players and server admins. We are also reviewing recent changes to servers and gameplay.

While we continue our work internally we want to remind everyone to keep using the EA forums to provide feedback. We review the comments in these and other forums regularly while we consider the direction of Battlefield.

We also want to assure to the mod community that we understand the difficulties you have worked through and we are continuing to look for ways to help everyone and find ways to promote all of the mods and their hard working teams.

As always keep your eyes to this space for all the latest Battlefield News.

No, we beta tested it fine. There were no installation or server crash issues, EA/Dice changed that after the test was over with. Everything worked fine in the tests.

I swear to everyone, if they postpone Armored Fury again I'm going to quit playing BF2. I've been waiting practically everyday since March 28th, over two months ago. Kinda like Christmas. I just WANT the F*CKING booster pack now, and they can do a 1.31 later. Just GIVE me the freakin Little Birds and the A-10's and the American maps and I'll be happy.

If they had said back in March -- Armored Fury, coming June! I wouldn't be so pissed. But in March they "implied" it was coming out on the 28th, than people were saying it's coming April, than people started saying it's coming in May, and now FINALLY they release an official date. I mean, why do they do that? It just hurts me inside. *sniff*

Hmmm....after applying my handy dandy da vinci code decoder to the aforementioned press release by EA, I've come across this secret message embedded within the text.

"All of you think the last patch was hard to play with!? Wait till we release the next one. Yeah it's a real fucking CHORE to click Save, let it Download...Then Double Click it. Shit, what could be more tedious than that? Perhaps if your running on a 28k connection or your still using your 386 perhaps...Otherwise STFU and deal with it. Or better yet, quit the BF series altogether if you don't like it. Very simple solution to a not so complex problem. All people do is bitch about the game...Play it and enjoy, or Stop playing and quit the complaining.

Thanks for the post Big Daddy War Pig. As far as Dice's statements go.. if I want to hear bullshit, ill just tune in to the latest Parliament meeting..

If Dice had any sense, they'd urge servers to all roll back to 1.22 and start from there. 1.22 was one of the least flawed patches out. Why try and debug their own mess when they can go back to the beginning before they implemented all the damn server drop outs and ingame connection freezes?

Its like scooping your own shit out of the toilet, in spite of simply pressing FLUSH!
