the hellraiser game is making a little splash online. youtube channels are getting
shut down for showing it even in a censored state (why would you even try at this point on youtube?).
other people make their way into spaces for the game to complain about the gore. beat their chests about a personal boycott or something, about gibs in a franchise decades established as gory, mark violence and depravity as a negative, where their presence is actually required for authenticity. i've also seen more than a few pearls clutched at the non-explicit sexual content. what about the guy getting 1980s disemboweled nearby, or whatever? no comment?
i haven't bought this (still need to play alien iso), but like, don't do slasher stuff if it's not to your taste? virtue signalers.
found out this game existed days before it came out. maybe it'll be far enough under the radar that the world can avoid too much nanny state behavior on its account.
