trying to give the other half the highlights reel of my life in the UK, and my old haunts in the variously genteel and intellectual spots of london, bristol, bath, etc. had to come meet my extended family, but that's not for here.
was even quite close to dilbert's alma mater for a morning, although i doubt he'd recognise it anymore since the DEI hires and the gone-wokeism of particle physics, and so on. they're all trying to find new sub-atomic genders now.
a spot of shopping for new home decorations (too effeminate to consider any more strenuous home personalisation).

the bbc weather described the week as one of 'anti-cyclonic gloom', which is almost parodically funny. we didn't see the sun for an entire week until the last evening in bath, when the permanent slate-grey finally admitted some other colours. about 4 degrees, cold, and drizzling the whole time. the UK in february can fuck right offffff!
