Am i wrong, or do many high rank players, 2nd Lieutenant and above, evite running by foot? Mostly i see many of them in an APC on Karkand, in a bomber on Oman or in a helo on Sharqi. So do they have this behaviour, or did this behaviour lead to their rank.

I am a captian( a pretty high rank ) and i injoy flying helis jets and driving tanks but being on the ground is fun too.What ever i feel like doing i do it!!!! Also i go for badges like expert tank jet and heli!!!!!!
I find myself getting bored with this game...but I still want higher ranks...and to play with my Friends.
I spend alot of my time Commanding now, I now play to win. Not that I don't care for stats because I do!
I take the most important position on any map to ensure victory...

Mastuur City - Squad Leader
Zatar Wetlands - Commander
Wake Island - Jets
Sharqi Peninsula - Squad Leader
Dalian Plant - Jets/Choppers/APCs
Fushee Pass - Commander
Kubara Damn - Chopper
Daqing Oilfields - Chopper
Golf of Ohman - Chopper
Operation Clean Sweep - Commander/Chopper
Dragon Vally - APC/Squad Leader/Jets/Chopper/Commander (Everything is good here)
Shongua Stalemate - Commander
(Did I miss any Maps? ...Whatever you get the Idea)
For your knowledge these are the most important assets to the team on each one on of these Maps.

I'm a Major and i have way more fun on the ground and as medic on Karkand you can easily outscore the typical Joe Schmoe spawnraping in an APC.

Damn right. It gets boring just driving or flying around. Sometimes you even have to fight to get a tank/jet/heli. Ground pounding is the most fun. Especially with a well rounded squad, you can own a map. Thats why I mainly play Special Forces cause its more infantry oriented.fierce wrote:

i only make fun of other people with my rank
I prefer being on the ground with my assault rifle. I have a better time with my rifle or SAW laying down fire on people and playing with some tactics, rather than driving around dropping bombs on spawn points and flags. Every vehicle and person has tactics that work better for them....but i personally prefer to go all out and be "in the shit" with my rifle.
Vehicle Whroing is most of the time much more fun than playing infantry, simply because teamwork on most public servers suck. I'll always play ground if I got a good squad, but otherwise I am not about to go get killed for some random people...
I actually ode vehicles. I utterly stink in them (except in a FAV/Vodnik type vehicle). The only other vehicle I get in is the occasional boat or transport chopper.

Well i am a 2 star general(getting my 3rd star tomorrow OHH RAH) and now that u need expert all vehicles you pretty much have to vehicle whore. Look at my stats and you will see i ahve more kills on foot then in vehicles so not all high ranks use vehicles. SNIPER09735
Um.... Im a ground pounder on karkand... I mostly go in vehicles when im on an Air map, and the rest of my vehicle time is just chrono padding , So this proves you wrong about your little "Vehicles=HighRank" Bullshit.

I do what ever fits! I hate if people dont get out of their tanks/aps/jets/helos instead of taking flags! Often we could win of they would not whore for vehicles! But its not only a problem of high ranked!
People who whore too much may get a high rank but you can always check there stats, they NEVER lie....

I pretty much ground pounded in my early days, then when I reached gunny I graduated to Armor whoring, then eventually to Chopper/Jet whoring when I reached Sgt Major. I'm a firm believer in the doctrine that noobs don't use the more powerful guns in the game...
but I've been biased to jet whoring now since I'm fixing to get vet jet...then I'll go back to chopper to get vet choppa
