Here's a really good video showcasing part of the vaccine scare life cycle.
Bigtext: VACCINES LINKED TO HORRIBLE THING
Much smaller text after initial scare: horrible thing is a very rare side effect (or "may be linked," underneath in the description)
Much, much smaller text, halfway through: the benefits of a vaccine outweigh the potential risks
Youtube comments: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!
Expecting in my email the next morning: how is your heart feeling?
Me: "Oh so you saw that in the news the other day? Did you pay attention to the whole report?"
Them: "Of course I did!" (lie)
…
Dilbert several posts up: I don't want blood clots.
Also dilbert: I don't believe that crazy conspiracy stuff.
@mac yeah, that really sucks. I'm not convinced it does much good to cancel all that stuff for kids when adults are going back to business as usual. Just more bitter resentment and compliance-weariness.
@mmfmmfmmf
I'd just assume I'd been exposed if the company refuses to help out with contacts.
